Poem: Getting it Together

Getting it together, one step at a time,
Piece by piece, like a rhythm, a rhyme.
The world spins on, and so do we,
Seeking the puzzle’s final decree.

The chaos swirls, the thoughts collide,
But we find the center, where we can reside.
Through tangled paths and endless lanes,
We hold the reins, despite the strains.

The scattered dreams, the broken threads,
We gather them up, no matter where they led.
A little patience, a little grace,
A steady heart, a calm embrace.

It’s not about perfection, it’s not about speed,
It’s finding balance, meeting the need.
So bit by bit, and breath by breath,
We’re stitching the fragments, and building the rest.

Getting it together, it’s never too late,
It’s in the trying, it’s in the wait.
We rise, we stumble, but still we rise,
The work is the journey, the strength in our eyes.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
