Poem: Dealing with Feelings

Negative feelings come and go,
Like winds that swirl and softly blow,
They stir the heart, they cloud the mind,
But even storms can leave behind
A sky that’s clear, a calm embrace,
A chance to find a peaceful space.

In moments dark, when hope feels thin,
Just breathe and let the quiet in.
Acknowledge pain, but don’t let it stay,
Like shadows fading with the day.

The weight will lift, though slow it seems,
Like waking from a restless dream.
For even when the clouds won’t part,
The light is always in your heart.

So face the storm, but don’t retreat—
The strength to heal is at your feet.
Step forward, one soft step at time,
And know your soul can still climb high.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
