Poem: Surrender

Surrender to the flow of life,
A river’s song, a dance, a strife.
The current pulls, the winds may steer,
But still, we trust, and shed our fear.

We grasp the reins, then let them go,
Let time unfold, let stillness flow.
Through gentle twists, through unseen bends,
We trust the road, we make no ends.

For in the now, the heart is free,
Unwritten paths, yet meant to be.
The stream will carry, soft and sure,
A journey vast, both wild and pure.

So float, dear soul, with tender grace,
Release control, embrace the pace.
For life, in all its ebb and tide,
Knows just where we are meant to glide.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
