Poem: Calm Ocean

The ocean’s calm, a quiet grace,
A silver blanket, soft embrace.
The gentle waves, they kiss the shore,
A whispered hymn forevermore.

The air is still, the sky so wide,
As if the world’s at peace, inside.
Each ripple dances, slow and sure,
A tender touch, serene and pure.

The horizon melts in shades of blue,
Where sky and sea are one, and true.
No hurry here, no noise, no haste,
Just endless moments, slow to waste.

The ocean hums its quiet song,
A lullaby both deep and long.
It calls for nothing, needs no name—
Just peaceful, timeless, stillness’ claim.

Beneath the sun, the world stands still,
A tranquil breath, a sacred will.
In every wave, there lies a peace,
Where all the noise of life may cease.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
