Poem: Open Your Heart

Open your heart like the morning sky,
Let the light in, let the shadows fly.
Unfold the petals of the soul’s desire,
And kindle the flame of an endless fire.

Let the winds of hope whisper soft and true,
Carrying dreams with a delicate hue.
No need to hide what you feel inside,
For love is the compass, and truth is the guide.

The walls you’ve built may seem strong and high,
But there’s beauty in letting the tears fall dry.
Invulnerability, find your strength and grace,
In opening up, you’ll find your place.

So open your heart, don’t be afraid,
For in the cracks, the light will invade.
And in the silence, you’ll come to know,
That love is the seed, and you’re free to grow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
