I hope this feels empowering and reflective of rediscovery. It’s about shedding the layers and reconnecting with the soul within. Does it capture what you’re looking for?

Unveil
There was a time I lost my way,
A path grown thick with doubt and gray.
I wandered far from truths I knew,
As shadows whispered, pulling through.
But deep inside, a voice still called,
A quiet echo, soft but bold.
It spoke of strength, it spoke of light,
A spark that flickered through the night.
I’ve worn masks, I’ve played the part,
A stranger to the beating heart.
But now I stand, no longer blind,
I seek the soul I’ve left behind.
The world may change, the years may bend,
But who I am will never end.
I strip away the layers thin,
And find the person deep within.
No more the roles that others play,
No more the fears that led me astray.
I stand here now, a truth unspoken,
The chains I wore, at last, are broken.
For who I am, I now can see—
A force of nature, wild and free.
I’ve rediscovered, with open eyes,
The truth beneath the endless skies.
So here I rise, both fierce and bright,
The soul I’ve known, now in my sight.
No longer lost, I walk with grace,
The truest me, I now embrace.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,

Wonderful, Brenda. Layers that form on your heart can numb it. It’s best to peel those layers away and absorb the feelings.
