#TankaTuesday Poetry Challenge No. 2, Synonyms Only, 3/4/2025

Here’s a syllabic poem using synonyms for “create” and “bright.”
Ignite the Dawn
Forge the glow with eager hands,
Shape the light in distant lands.
Craft the flame with gentle might,
Spark the dawn, and chase the night.
Build the sun, a radiant ray,
Sculpt the skies to greet the day.
Form the blaze with steady breath,
Ignite the dawn, dispel the death.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty
