Poem: Lucid Dreaming

Lucid Dreaming

In the stillness of sleep’s embrace,
I awaken within time and space.
A dream unfolds, yet I can see,
That I am more than what I seem to be.

The world around me bends and sways,
Shifting colors, endless haze.
But with a thought, I take the lead,
The dream obeys, and I am freed.

I soar above, where skies are wide,
On winds that carry me with pride.
I touch the stars, dance with the night,
Shape the dark, bend the light.

Mountains melt, and oceans fade,
My will alone the world has made.
No chains to bind, no fear to chase,
In this realm, I set the pace.

I walk through doors that lead to skies,
Where truth and wonder harmonize.
A whisper calls, a vision gleams,
This world is mine, for in it, I dream.

In lucid thought, I hold the reins,
A dreamer’s power, no bounds, no chains.
A fleeting world, but one I steer,
In lucid dreams, I have no fear.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
