I lost the only magic I ever had,
The kind that lit the world when skies were sad.
It lived in whispers, secrets, and the night,
Now gone, it’s left me searching for the light.
I once could see the stars through shadows deep,
A dance of dreams that lulled me into sleep.
But now the moon is distant, cold, and far,
And all my wishes fall like fading stars.
The spells I knew are lost without a trace,
The wonder vanished from this hollow space.
I search for sparks where none will ever be,
Wondering if the magic died with me.
But still, in silence, somewhere in my soul,
A flicker stirs, an ember, soft and whole.
Perhaps, in time, the spark will rise again,
To cast its glow on hearts that feel the same.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
