Poem: You Can Only Heal You

You can only heal you, my friend,
In places where the broken bend.
No hand can fix the cracks inside,
It’s you alone who must decide.

The world will turn, the days will fade,
And promises may slip, cascade.
But in your heart, there’s space to mend,
You are the start, the means, the end.

No one can stitch the wounds you’ve borne,
Or quiet storms that leave you torn.
But deep within, you hold the key,
To set your soul, at last, to free.

The love you seek, the peace you crave,
Is something only you can save.
The healing starts when you believe—
That through the hurt, you can retrieve.

So rise again, and trust what’s true,
You can only heal you.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
