Poem: Balance

In shadows deep, where silence sleeps,
I wander where the darkness keeps.
A veil of night, a quiet grace,
Yet in its depths, I find my place.

The moonlight whispers, soft and bright,
A glimpse of truth within the night.
It shows me both the dark and light,
A dance of both, so pure, so right.

The dark holds secrets, untold fears,
Yet light brings clarity through tears.
They intertwine, they coexist,
In each dark twist, a lighted mist.

My soul, a blend of dark and glow,
A cosmic ebb, a ceaseless flow.
In both, I find my truest flight,
A balance struck between the night.

So let the shadows gently guide,
And let the light be my true pride.
For in my heart, both dark and bright,
I find the strength to burn, to fight.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
