Poem: Reconnecting to Nature

Beneath the sky’s soft, endless blue,
I walk the earth, my heart anew.
The winds that whisper through the trees,
The rustling leaves, a gentle tease.

I pause to feel the ground beneath,
The pulse of life in quiet breath.
Each step I take, a dance with time,
The mountains hum, the rivers chime.

A bird takes flight, its wings unfold,
A story in the skies retold.
The flowers bloom in colors bright,
Embracing day, embracing night.

The earth, it calls with steady grace,
A tender touch, a warm embrace.
I listen close, and start to see
The world’s true beauty set me free.

I reconnect, I let it in,
The peace I seek, the love within.
For in this world, both wild and wide,
We find our roots, where we reside.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
