Poem: Castle By the Sea

A castle stands where ocean’s blue
Meets skies of soft, eternal hue,
Its towers rise from sands of gold,
A tale of ancient kings retold.

The waves, they crash against the stone,
Whispering secrets all their own,
While gulls above in circles fly,
As winds beneath the heavens sigh.

The sea, it shimmers, wild and free,
A mirror of eternity.
The salt, it lingers in the air,
A scent of magic everywhere.

The castle walls, both proud and grand,
Guard stories of a distant land,
Of knights and queens who once did reign,
Whose names are etched in memory’s grain.

Now all that’s left is stone and sky,
The sea, the winds, the softest cry.
But still, the castle’s heart beats true,
A kingdom, born from ocean view.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
