In every soul, there lies a spark,
A dance of light, a shadow’s mark.
We wear both day and night inside,
With good and bad, we cannot hide.
The light within, it softly glows,
A kindness shared where love still grows.
Yet darkness whispers, deep and low,
A side of us we may not show.
We are not perfect, none are pure,
Our hearts a blend of dark and sure.
For every joy, there’s sorrow’s thread,
In every dream, some fear is fed.
The sun and moon both rise and fall,
Each bearing shadows, each bearing all.
In one, there’s warmth, in one, the chill,
Yet both combine to shape our will.
We all have light, and we have dark,
Both play their part, both leave a mark.
And in this dance, we learn to see—
The good and bad are part of me.
Thank-you for reading.
Many blessings to all.
Much love and light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty
