Poem: Unwinding the Chaos

The chaos came in coils and cords,
Woven through lifetimes, frayed with words—
Ancestral echoes wrapped around,
Tight in the body, silent sound.

It hummed beneath my weary skin,
Like static storms that live within.
A tangled web of grief and blame—
Yet none of it was truly mine to name.

I placed my palms upon my chest,
Where pain once coiled and wouldn’t rest.
And breathed in deep, beyond the fear—
To find the frequency clear and near.

Golden light began to rise,
Not from the world, but from inside.
A current moved through every cell,
Soft as moonlight, strong as spell.

I called my power back to me—
From every time I gave it free.
I swept the shadows, cleared the space,
Anointed self with sacred grace.

With every breath, I let go more,
Of every cage, of every war.
I smoothed the threads, I sang them true,
And watched the old distortions undo.

Now chaos may still knock and plead,
But I no longer let it feed.
For I am healer, flame, and tide—
The storm dissolves when I decide.

I walk in peace, but not in sleep—
I’ve learned to feel what’s buried deep.
And in that depth, I’ve found my key—
The energy of all I’ll be.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
