Poem: You Are the Light

You are the light that cracks the dawn,
A gentle hush before the song.
Where shadows lean to catch their breath,
You blaze a path and banish death.

You are the spark in sleeping coals,
The whispered hope in weary souls.
A lantern swinging in the storm,
A fire that keeps the lost ones warm.

You are the truth behind the veil,
The silver thread in every tale.
The northern star, the guiding flame,
The voice that softly speaks my name.

You are the light—unchained, unbound—
That floods the dark without a sound.
And even when the night is long,
Your shine becomes my sacred song.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
