A quiet breath, the world stands still,
No need to chase, no urge, no will.
Just morning light on dewy leaves,
A sigh that floats on gentle breath.
The steaming cup between my hands,
A silent knowing where love stands.
No questions asked, no answers sought,
Just presence full of sacred thought.
The wind a whisper, soft and low,
It hums a tune I seem to know.
The clouds drift by with nowhere due,
As time forgets what it must do.
A bird alights, then takes to sky—
No reason why, no need to try.
And in that flight, I see my soul,
At peace, at rest, completely whole.
No past to haunt, no future near,
Just this small now, so bright, so clear.
A hush within, a calm so wide—
A peaceful moment, deep inside.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty
