Poem: See Through the Chaos

In the hush between the sirens’ wail,
Where silence flickers, torn and frail,
There lies a thread, both soft and thin—
A breath, a truth, beneath the din.

The world may scream in fractured light,
With shadows clawing at the night,
But look—beyond the shatter’s dance,
There hides a steady, quiet chance.

Through cities, cracked and thunder-tossed,
Through every fear and every cost,
The soul still sings, however low,
A song the chaos cannot know.

A single leaf against the storm,
Still, turns its face into something warm.
A child laughs through broken glass—
Proof that all storms someday pass.

See not just flames, but how they fade,
Not only ruins, but what’s remade.
For in the rubble, roots will grow—
And in the dark, the stars still glow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
