A Poem From Freedom Freeda’s Point of View

With Fur-Ever Love”

I came to you, all paws and play,
A wiggly pup on that bright day.
Your hands were warm, your voice was kind—
In you, my home, my heart, I’d find.

You named me Freedom, strong and proud,
I barked my joy, I howled aloud!
And Freeda fit me just as well,
For in your love, I learned to dwell.

You taught me sit, and stay, and heel,
You shared your snacks, your walks, each meal.
You dried me off when I got wet,
And forgave every carpet I’d forget.

I watched you laugh, I’ve seen you cry,
I’ve curled beside you, breathing sighs.
When storms rolled in, or fears grew tall,
I stood my ground—I faced them all.

Through every season, every year,
You’ve been my world, my warmth, my cheer.
My tail still wags for you alone,
For in your arms, I’ve fully grown.

Now gray may kiss my furry face,
But still I chase the squirrels with grace.
And still, I wait beside the door,
For you to come—my heart, my core.

My human, soft and true,
My every heartbeat lives for you.
From puppy days to wiser years,
You’ve filled my life with love and cheers.

So here’s my vow, forever friend:
I’ll love you true, until the end.
No leash or fence could hold me tight—
You are my soul, my guiding light.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
