Hounddog Love: Freedom Freeda’s First Trip to a Lake

Freedom Freeda is two and half years old. I have been wanting to take her to Grenloch Lake for a long time. It’s only about six blocks from where I live. Sadly, because of all my health issues, I can’t even walk a few blocks. I had a stock last June and I suffer from chronic pain do to arthritis and sciatica. I have to walk using a cane. I can only stand for about ten minutes. After, two years of tests and fighting and physical therapy was no help,  I was finally prescribed ibuprofen. I still have to use the cane and my condition is getting worse. But, on Mother’s Day, I was blessed with a lot less pain.  So, I took Frredom Freeda  to Grenlock Lake for a walk.

Freedom Freeda had a lot of fun sniffing around. We found a nice stop to set and watch the ducks.  It was a lovely day.  Thank God for small favors because I really enjoyed this little trip with Freeda.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
