Hold Your Light
Hold your light, though shadows creep,
Though silence haunts your hours of sleep.
When hope is thin and winds are loud,
Be still, be fierce, and stand unbowed.
Hold your light, though tears may blur
The path ahead, unsure, unsure.
A spark within, not seen but known,
Is stronger than the night alone.
Let others rage, let tempests roll—
You hold a fire, you hold a soul.
Not every star was meant to shine
Upon command or perfect line.
Hold your light, though none applaud,
Though doubt may mock or fate seem flawed.
Your glow may be the only flame
For those too lost to speak your name.
And if you fall, fall not in vain—
Your ember leaves a golden stain
Upon the hearts who pass your way—
A light that stays beyond the day.
So hold it close, and hold it high—
Your light is yours. Let it defy
The dark, the storm, the ache, the cold.
Hold your light. Be brave. Be bold.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
