Poem: Tomorrow Is a New Day

Tomorrow Is a New Day

Tomorrow is a new day—soft and wide and clean,
Unwritten like the morning mist,
A canvas swept of what has been,
A chance the past has somehow missed.

The sun will rise, as if to say,
“You’re not the things you didn’t do.”
Each dawn rewrites the heavy gray
In gentler shades of something true.

Let go the weight of yesterday—
The sharp-edged words, the steps you tripped.
Mistakes are seeds that, come what may,
Can bloom where guilt once tightly gripped.

Tomorrow breathes without your shame,
It asks no proof, it holds no grudge.
It calls you kindly, speaks your name,
And offers hope without a judge.

So rest tonight, let silence stay—
No war is won in endless fight.
For all the things you couldn’t say,
There comes another morning light.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
