Poem: Love Only Changes Form

Love Only Changes Form

Love does not vanish, it learns how to stay,
In echoes of laughter, though miles drift away.
It softens with time but never is gone—
It lingers like twilight when daylight moves on.

It slips through the fingers, yet fills up the air,
It moves from the touch to the memory there.
A glance becomes silence, a spark becomes warm—
Don’t call it an ending; it’s only new form.

A whisper, a song, the hush in the room,
A flower that grows where the old once bloomed.
It shifts like the sea, from calm into storm—
But still, it is love, just love in new form.

From hands that once held to hearts that still know,
From “stay” to “be well,” from fire to glow.
It lives in the changes, in stillness and swarm—
Love never dies, it just changes form.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
