Poem: Walk the Path of Your Soul

Walk the Path of Your Soul

Not all roads are lit with signs,
nor carved in stone or paved with gold.
Some begin where silence lives,
where only brave hearts dare to hold.

It starts within—a flicker first,
a whisper lost to louder noise.
But still it calls, again, again—
not with command, but with a choice.

The world may point a thousand ways,
each lined with promise, fear, or fame.
But none will feel like breathing deep
until you walk the one that bears your name.

You’ll wander through forgotten woods,
through doubt, through fire, through quiet rain—
you’ll shed the skins that never fit,
and carry only what remains.

The path is yours—not theirs, not mine.
It won’t be straight. It won’t be tame.
But every step, though rough or kind,
will shape your soul and feed its flame.

So walk it not for praise or prize,
nor rush to reach some distant end.
Walk it because it is your truth—
your fiercest guide, your oldest friend.

And when you tire, look up, look in—
the stars will know, the winds will show.
The path of soul is not a place—
it’s who you are, and how you grow.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
