Poem: It’s Alright to Cry

It’s Alright to Cry

It’s alright to cry when the sky turns gray,
When the light feels lost and far away.
Let the tears fall soft like a quiet rain,
They carry the weight of hidden pain.

It’s alright to break for a little while,
To lose your grip, to drop the smile.
Not every moment must be strong—
Even silence can sing its own song.

The world won’t end if you let go,
If you show the parts you never show.
There’s courage in the trembling voice,
In choosing grief as a rightful choice.

Tears can water, what’s inside,
Help the buried strength to rise.
So cry—without fear, without shame—
You’re still whole, you’re still the same.

And when the storm begins to part,
You’ll find a lighter, healing heart.
It’s alright to cry—don’t hide your face.
There’s love in every tear’s trace.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
