Poem: Writing Is So Much Fun

A pen in hand, a blank white page,
A stage is set without a stage.
No need for props, no need to run—
Just thoughts that spark like morning sun.

A dragon’s roar, a lover’s sigh,
A pirate ship that learns to fly,
A whispered spell, a daring plan—
All born from ink, by heart and hand.

The world bends gently to my will,
Each word a brush, each line a thrill.
Mistakes? I make them—then erase,
And let my wildest dreams take place.

I write of hope, I write of fears,
Of rainy days and hidden years.
I laugh out loud at jokes I make,
And cry at hearts I choose to break.

In every line, I find my voice,
A world where I control the choice.
No rules, just play—my mind can run…
Oh yes, writing is so much fun.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
