Beneath the flesh, beneath the name,
Beyond the glory or the shame,
There lies a quiet, endless keep—
The place where love runs soul-deep.
It’s not in words we often speak,
But in the way our silence leaks.
A glance, a breath, a held-back tear—
That’s where the truest truths appear.
It’s in the ache we never show,
The dreams we bury, let them grow.
It’s in the storms we learn to ride,
The hidden wounds we wear with pride.
Soul-deep is more than skin or sound,
It’s where the roots of self are found.
It’s where you touch, and I just know—
No surface truth could ever show.
So let them skim the world above,
We’ll meet below, in quiet love.
Where hearts don’t speak, but simply leap—
Into the dark, soul-deep, soul-deep.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and light,
