Don’t forget the way the moonlight fell,
Soft on paths you knew so well—
The scent of pine, the hush of air,
The whisper that said you were there.
Don’t forget the bend in the stream,
The place where you paused to dream—
Feet in the water, heart in the sky,
No need to question where or why.
Don’t forget the call of the dawn,
When shadows stretched and then were gone—
And you walked on with open eyes,
Following stars that never lied.
Don’t forget the ache, the fire,
The quiet hunger of desire—
Each step was carved from fear and grace,
Each mile a mirror of your face.
Don’t forget the way, though time
May blur the trail or shift the line—
Your soul remembers every stone.
The road you walked was always home.
Thank-you for reading.
Much Love and Light,
Brenda Marie
