Deep in the heart of all mankind,
A whisper stirs the sleeping mind—
Not born of flesh, nor shaped by bone,
But something vast, and yet alone.
It hums beneath the city’s cries,
It waits where silent forests lie.
In every eye, in every hand,
It weaves a thread none understand.
A longing not for gold or fame,
But just to speak one sacred name—
To be, to feel, to touch, to know,
To stand where love and mercy grow.
It flickers in a child’s gaze,
In broken men who find new ways.
It sings in grief, in hope’s dim flame,
And burns when one forgives the blame.
We build, we break, we fall, we rise,
We chase the stars, we tell our lies.
But deep beneath the war and noise,
There lives a still, relentless voice.
It speaks of more than mere survival,
It sings of peace, of love’s revival.
And though the world may turn unkind,
That voice remains—in all mankind.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,

This is a beautiful and profound poem—it speaks to the universal longing for meaning, connection, and something greater than ourselves. The imagery is vivid, and the rhythm carries a quiet power, like the “still, relentless voice” it describes. A moving reflection on the essence of humanity.
Thank-you so much
