Poem: The Glow Inside Knows

The glow inside knows—
not loud like thunder,
but soft as dusk when shadows grow
and thoughts begin to wander.

It hums beneath the surface skin,
a light no storm can tame,
a flicker where all truths begin,
unshaken, still the same.

It’s not in words or grand displays,
nor carved in stone or gold—
but in the quiet, steady gaze
of dreams we never told.

It guides us when the world is dim,
when voices twist and spin,
reminding us we’re more than doubt,
more fire than what’s been.

Through every fall, through every rise,
through silence, song, and prose—
the one sure thing, it never dies:
the glow inside that knows.

Thank-you for reading.

Many blessings to all.

Much love and light,

Brenda Marie
