Not every light was meant to blaze,
Or draw the eyes of passing praise.
Some fires burn in hidden stone,
A warmth that’s kept for you alone.
The world is full of reaching hands,
Not all will seek to understand.
Some come with envy, sharp and cold,
To dim your glow or take your gold.
So guard the sparks that make you rise,
In silence, wrapped in calm disguise.
Let stillness be your clever shield,
And truth, a garden not revealed.
For power kept in quiet grace,
Can never lose, can’t be displaced.
No storm can steal what lies within—
A secret sun beneath your skin.
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty

Well said Brenda 🌷🤝 This poem beautifully celebrates quiet strength and inner resilience. It reminds us that not all brilliance needs to be displayed—some of the most powerful light is nurtured in stillness and self-possession. A gentle yet defiant anthem for those who shine without needing the world’s applause. ✨
