No face too strange, no name too new,
No skin too dark, no shade too blue.
We each are stars in one wide sky,
All shining, though we don’t know why.
A thousand voices, one great song,
Each note unique, but none are wrong.
The rhythm lives in every soul—
Together, we are strong and whole.
No love should hide, no hope be banned,
No dream dismissed by cruel demand.
For hearts all beat with common fire,
And every soul has its desire.
Let kindness be our native tongue,
No matter where a life’s begun.
No border, flag, or wall should part
The truth that lives inside the heart.
So open wide the door within—
Let strangers feel like long-lost kin.
For when we see through love’s clear view,
The “they” and “them” become the “you.”
Thank-you for reading.
Much love and Light,
Brenda Marie Fluharty
