Poem: Calling Back the Soul Fragments

Calling Back the Soul Fragments

Come home, lost flame, from where you fled,
From whispered shame and words unsaid.
From corners dark where silence grew—
I call you back. I summon you.

Return from moments torn by fear,
From nights, you vanished to disappear.
From places where the light withdrew—
I call you back. I summon you.

From every love that broke your name,
From guilt that wrapped your heart in flame,
From dreams that grief turned cold and blue—
I call you back. I summon you.

From hands that hurt, from eyes that judged,
From ledges leapt, from edges nudged.
From all the things you trudged on through—
I call you back. I summon you.

Come home from faces you became
To hide your soul, to play their game.
Unmask the pain you once outgrew—
I call you back. I summon you.

Each fragment lost, each piece disowned,
Each sacred scar, each seed unknown—
Return now to this heart made true.
I call you back. I welcome you.

I light a fire. I speak your name.
No part of you deserves the shame.
With open arms and eyes anew—
I call you back. I honor you.

Thank-you for reading.

Much love and Light,

Brenda Marie Fluharty
