Poem: Be in Your Power

Be in your power—silent, sure,
Not loud, not proud, but deeply pure.
A rooted oak that does not bend
To please the whimsy of the wind.

Be in your power—eyes that see
What lies beneath, not just what seems.
Speak when the silence weighs too much,
And hold your tongue when truth needs hush.

Be in your power—walk your pace.
This world will rush; you need not race.
The ones who shine don’t beg for light;
They burn within, and still ignite.

Be in your power—flawed and whole.
Not seeking gold, but guarding soul.
Let wounds not make you hide or yield,
But teach you where your spine is steeled.

Be in your power—kind, yet clear.
Your love is strength, not sign of fear.
A whisper can reshape the sky
When spoken by a heart that’s high.

Be in your power, now, today—
Not someday far, or swept away.
You are enough. You are the flame.
Be in your power. Own your name.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie

  1. This poem is a quiet storm of strength Brenda ; each line a steady heartbeat, each verse an anthem for grounded, graceful power. It doesn’t roar; it *resonates*. A masterful reminder that true strength is stillness, self-awareness, and the unshakable light within. ✨🌳
