Poem: Lost in the Profound

I wandered deep where silence breathes,
Beyond the world, the daylight leaves.
Where thought, dissolves and names grow thin,
And all begins where none had been.

The stars were mute, the sky unpinned,
A hush more vast than mortal wind.
I felt the pull of something wide—
A truth too large for time to hide.

No road, no path, no compass drawn,
Just echoes of a wordless dawn.
A flicker where the mind might drown,
Yet find itself, lost in the profound.

What weightless dream or boundless sea
Could cradle both the void and me?
A pulse within the dark unrolled—
Not to be grasped, but only told.

And though I could not bring it back,
That place beyond the known and black,
It lingers still—without a sound—
A soul once lost… and now unbound.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
