Poem:Rest Is Good

In quiet hours when daylight fades,
And shadows stretch in soft parades,
We find the stillness, calm and deep—
A gentle place where thoughts can sleep.

The world may race, its engines roar,
But peace waits by a silent door.
We do not lose when we grow still,
For rest renews the heart and will.

A breath, a pause, a moment slow,
Can help the weary spirit grow.
Not every hour is meant to strive—
Some just to feel, to be alive.

The stars don’t rush, the moon takes time,
And rivers hum a restful rhyme.
The trees just stand, yet still they thrive—
Their roots go deep, their dreams alive.

So lay your burdens, shed your load,
Let softness guide you down the road.
For in the hush, the soul is fed—
And rest is good, like daily bread.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and Light,

Brenda Marie
