Book Review: Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection by Sheila Murrey
I must say reading, “Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection” by Sheila Murrey was reading through the soul for me. I have known Sheila Murrey for some time. I follow her blog . She is an artist and deeply connected to her soul. One of the many things I love about her. After reading “Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection” I truly realized just how much of a soul sister she is to me.
Reading Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection by Sheila Murrey felt like sitting down with a soul sister and diving deep into the mysteries of the universe, spirit, and the quiet wisdom that lives within each of us. From the very first page, Sheila’s sincerity and vulnerability opened my heart — and what followed was nothing short of transformational.
Sheila’s journey, filled with ethereal encounters, deep spiritual reflection, and the raw beauty of human connection, touched me profoundly. It felt as though she put into words many of the truths I have long held dear. Her experiences mirrored my own in powerful ways — from the sense of being guided by unseen forces, to the firm belief that we are all connected beyond the physical realm.
This book isn’t just a memoir; it’s a soul transmission. Sheila’s stories invite the reader into a sacred space of remembering — remembering who we are, why we’re here, and how love, intuition, and spiritual presence shape our lives in subtle and powerful ways. Her gentle wisdom, grounded in lived experience, gave me both comfort and a renewed sense of purpose.
I found myself nodding in agreement, laughing at the synchronicities, and shedding tears at moments that felt like echoes from my own path. Reading this book felt like a reunion of spirits — a confirmation that we’re never alone, and that kindred souls will always find each other, even across pages.
Sheila Murrey has given us a gift: a beautifully written, honest, and luminous testament to the power of divine connection. If you’ve ever felt guided by something bigger than yourself, or longed to find words for your own intuitive journey, Blue Eyes will speak to your heart — just as it did to mine.
Thank you, Sheila, for sharing your light. 💙
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God. Follow your own path,
Brenda Marie

Thank-you Dawn. I thought, it was a great book.
Speaking of the various paths leading us back to God, if you haven’t heard this song, it applies! Wink!

So beautiful, I had to add it to this post.
Oh, sweet! That’s icing on the proverbial cake, Brenda. Ha!
OMG, Brenda Marie!!! TEARS!! Your review of Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection reached out and grabbed me! You put so much soul sister love, kindness, and care into each word, that I am simply awash with eternal gratitude and appreciation!! I sincerely thank you for your generosity sister!!

In humility and eternal gratitude,

I was crying at many points when I read this book. It is so beautiful, words really can’t express it. I love the depth and other world connection of the book. I am a Scorpio and I go very deep and death and lose of loved ones is something I have been very passionate about. I still try to put my words together about.
Ah, I understand, Brenda. It took me quite some time, meditation, and contemplation to find ways of writing and expressing these things too! It’s so difficult to explain the ineffable! And I suppose that’s the point most of the time, that things are mysterious and ineffable for a reason! Most won’t believe or understand! Most people aren’t that deep.
I have a great disdain for the shallow. I didn’t even like that song!! Shallow. Ha! I dislike small talk. I don’t hate many things, but gossip is something I hate. Unless someone is warning me about something or someone dangerous (and even then I want to judge for myself), I don’t like to hear it. I grew up in a small town, so that’s probably why. Everyone was always into everyone else’s business. Ugh
My point I guess is that I have always felt drawn to the deep things. The mysteries and mysterious. The hidden. The shadow side. I have been intrigued with life and why some people have things harder than others.
As for death, working with Dr. Raymond Moody’s communications team a few years back really grabbed my interest. I love hearing about people’s near death experiences and shared death experiences.
I have to know are you a Scorpio? Maybe, that is why I was drawn to you. I have never been afraid to go deep. Many of the things I enjoyed as a child very few people understood. I was always writing. I loved the darker side of life and wanted to know what was in the shadows. Very few people I knew, understood. I was never afraid of death and wanted to know what happens when you die. I start asking questions when I was four. No one was ever willing to talk about it. Ghost and shadows have always been a part of my life. I had to hide it from other and it took me a very long time before, I started writing about.
I’m a Capricorn.
My grandfather was a Capricorn❤❤❤❤
I was also never afraid of death. I was thrilled to find the work and teachings of Abraham-Hicks because they say, There is no such thing as death. And when you croak… ha!
I hear you, sister. As a child I loved The Raven by Edgar Alan Poe, Kreskin, etc. etc.
I have changed so much, sometimes I can hardly believe it. But, that is a good thing.
