Poem: The Soul Always Knows the Way

The Soul Always Knows the Way

When paths grow dark and minds grow tired,
When every dream feels uninspired,
When noise surrounds both night and day—
Be still… the soul will find the way.

It doesn’t shout, it doesn’t push,
It speaks beneath the world’s loud hush.
A quiet pull, a steady flame,
A compass, no one else can name.

You search the maps, you seek the signs,
You chase the stars, redraw the lines,
But all you need, come storm or sway,
Is trust—the soul will guide the way.

It knows the truth you’ve tried to hide,
The pain you tucked so deep inside,
It holds your scars without dismay,
And whispers love to light the way.

No teacher’s voice, no prophet’s eyes,
Can match the depth where wisdom lies.
Beyond the doubt, beyond dismay—
The soul, unshaken, knows the way.

So when you’re lost, and skies turn gray,
Don’t run ahead or drift away.
Just breathe… and listen when you pray—
The soul has always known the way.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
