It’s alright to take a break,
To set the heavy burdens down,
To step outside the noise and pace,
And trade your hustle for a crown—
Not made of gold, but woven slow
From morning light and winds that blow.
It’s alright to pause the plan,
To breathe before the next big leap.
Even rivers, bold and grand,
Have places where they curl and sleep.
The world won’t end if you exhale—
Not every moment has to sail.
You’re not a machine, nor meant to be,
You’re skin and soul, both wild and free.
Rest is not weakness, nor a flaw,
But part of life’s own natural law.
So close your eyes, release the ache—
It’s more than fine to take a break.
To mend, to feel, to be, to bend—
And come back stronger in the end.
Thank-you for reading.
Remember there are many paths back to God.
Follow your own path,
