Poem: All I Want Is to Spend Time With You

I don’t need riches, gold, or fame,
No shining lights, no worldly name.
The only wish that feels most true—
All I want is to spend time with you.

Not grand adventures, far and wide,
Just simple walks, you by my side.
A quiet laugh, a morning brew—
Time is treasure when it’s spent with you.

We could sit in silence, say no word,
Yet feel more seen than ever heard.
The minutes stretch, the hours flew,
When my world is shared with you.

In storms or sunshine, come what may,
I’d choose your presence every day.
For all life’s chaos we walk through—
The calm I find is time with you.

So here I stand, no need to prove,
No lavish gifts, no lines to move.
Just heart and hope, both pure and true:
All I want is to spend time with you.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
