Poem: Sweet Days With You

Sweet were the days when time stood still,
When laughter danced on windowsills.
We wandered roads both worn and new,
Hand in hand — just me and you.

Mornings broke with gentle light,
Soft like whispers, warm and bright.
Coffee shared and sleepy eyes,
Hopeful hearts beneath blue skies.

We spoke in smiles, in quiet grace,
In every glance, a soft embrace.
The world could spin, the skies could fall —
But you and I outshone it all.

Evenings came with golden hue,
The stars would rise to honor you.
In every breeze, I found your name,
In every spark, a tender flame.

No grand parade, no need for show,
Just simple love that chose to grow.
And in those sweet, unhurried hours,
We bloomed like late September flowers.

So if the years should fade the hue,
Still I will dream of days with you.
A memory etched, a love so true —
Forevermore: sweet days with you.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
