Poem: Love Everlasting

Love Everlasting

Beyond the edge of fleeting years,
Through joy, through sorrow, laughs, and tears,
A steady flame, a quiet light,
That burns through day and deepest night.

It does not wane when seasons pass,
Nor crack beneath the weight of glass.
It bends, it breaks, it mends again—
Love everlasting has no end.

Not found in grand or fleeting things,
But in the warmth that silence brings,
In hands held tight, in whispered vows,
In hearts that choose to keep their “now.”

It weathers time, it wears with grace,
And finds its home in every place
Where souls align and softly say:
“I choose you still, each single day.”

So let the stars blink out above,
We’ll still remain—two souls, one love.
For when the world is long gone past,
Love everlasting will still last.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. This is a profoundly beautiful and moving piece. You’ve captured the essence of enduring love not as a static state, but as a resilient, active choice that deepens with time. The imagery is powerful and the message timeless. Truly wonderful.
