Poem: Keep an Opened Mind

Keep an opened mind, like the sky at dawn,
Where every cloud is a thought just drawn.
Let winds of wonder blow through your view,
And paint your truths in shades of new.

Don’t bar the door to strange or wild,
For every sage was once a child.
And every “wrong” once dared to be
A spark that shaped our history.

Let silence speak, and questions roam—
The heart grows wide when far from home.
A mind closed tight may feel secure,
But learns no more than what was sure.

So sip from cups you’ve never poured,
Hear stories you’ve not yet explored.
And when the world feels harsh or blind,
Try first to keep an opened mind.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
