Poem:Don’t Get Caught Up in the Past

The past is a shadow, it whispers and sighs,
Telling old stories with tear-filled eyes.
But don’t let its echoes pull you too near,
For time’s cruel hand has made it unclear.

The moments are gone, like sand through the breeze,
And what’s left behind is just memories.
Don’t let them trap you in their old embrace,
The future is waiting for you to chase.

So let go of the weight, set it all free,
There’s a world ahead, just waiting to see.
The past will remind you, but don’t let it stay,
Keep walking forward, step by step, day by day.

For life’s not in what was, but what will be,
A journey ahead—come, follow with me.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
