Poem: The Light of Mind

Intelligence, a flame that burns,
A spark within that twists and turns,
Not just in books or facts we keep,
But in the questions that run deep.

It’s curiosity’s gentle chase,
The hunger for a broader space,
To understand, to seek, to find—
A restless, ever-searching mind.

It’s logic’s dance and insight’s glow,
The seeds of knowledge that we sow,
Not pride or boast, but humble grace,
The courage to embrace the chase.

For true intelligence is more
Than what the mind alone explores—
It’s wisdom paired with heart and soul,
The art of making fractured whole.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
