Poem: The Beauty of Fall

Golden whispers kiss the trees,
A song floats soft on cooler breeze.
Leaves like fire begin to rain,
Dancing slow with no refrain.

Amber fields and skies of gray,
Shorter hours, a softer day.
Pumpkin scents and hearths aglow,
Chill that nips with gentle show.

Maples blaze in bold delight,
Crimson, copper, setting light.
Crisp the air and rich the ground,
Nature’s hush a sacred sound.

Geese in flight, a V-shaped sigh,
Etched across a twilight sky.
Footsteps crunch on woodland trails,
As autumn’s magic never fails.

In every leaf that flutters down,
Is a crown of nature’s gown.
A fleeting grace, a golden call—
How vast, how deep, the heart of fall.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie

  1. A breathtakingly vivid ode to autumn. You’ve captured not just the sights, but the very essence and soul of the season—its crispness, its golden light, and its profound, quiet magic. Truly beautiful.
