Poem: Find Balance

In a world that spins with tireless pace,
Where time runs wild and leaves no trace,
We seek a stillness, calm and deep,
A gentle space where hearts can sleep.

Between the noise and quiet grace,
We learn to breathe, to find our place.
Not all is gain, not all is loss—
Each step we take must know its cost.

The sun must set for stars to shine,
The rain must fall to feed the vine.
In joy and sorrow, dark and light,
We find our truths, both wrong and right.

A whisper balances a roar,
A closed door opens ten times more.
To rise, we kneel; to lead, we bow—
The world is wiser than we allow.

We’re pulled by dreams and held by fears,
By hopes that rise through silent tears.
Yet somewhere in this dance of days,
We learn to walk through winding ways.

So let us hold both peace and fire,
The quiet mind, the heart’s desire.
For only when both sides are known
Can we stand whole, and not alone.

Balance is not a final place,
But a rhythm, a breath, a subtle grace.
And in that flow, we find our role—
A soul at rest within the whole.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

  1. This is a beautifully contemplative piece. It thoughtfully explores the theme of balance—not as a static destination, but as a dynamic, flowing state of being (“a rhythm, a breath, a subtle grace”). The wisdom in its lines feels earned and gentle, offering a quiet reassurance that wholeness is found by embracing life’s dualities, not by choosing between them. A calming and insightful read.
