Poem: Walk in the Sand

Soft grains slip through my fingers,
Whispers of the ocean’s song.
Each step a memory lingers,
Where the shore and dreams belong.

Footprints stretch like quiet stories,
Telling tales of where I’ve been.
Sunlight dances in the glories,
Of waves that pull and push again.

The breeze carries salty kisses,
Echoes of the deep blue sea.
In this moment, all the stresses
Fade away, and I am free.

A walk in sand, a gentle art,
Where earth and water blend and meet,
And leaves a mark upon the heart—
A rhythm steady, soft, and sweet.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
