Poem: Free

No chain upon my weary soul,
No gate to block the sky—
I breathe the wind, I climb the stars,
And laugh as worlds pass by.

I owe no debt to fear or fate,
Nor bow to time or throne,
The road is mine, unmarked, unmade—
I walk it all alone.

No walls define where I begin,
No rules can hold me in;
I speak in thunder, dream in fire,
And wear the earth like skin.

I’ve kissed the void, I’ve danced with doubt,
Made peace with storm and sea,
And through it all, I found myself—
At last, I’m wild. I’m free.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,

Brenda Marie
