Poem: Turn and Look the Other Way

When shadows creep where light should stay,
We often turn and look the other way.
Eyes averted, hearts withdrawn,
Ignoring cracks at the break of dawn.

The truth, it whispers soft and low,
Yet still, we choose not to know.
Comfort lies in blind disguise,
In silence, where the question dies.

But courage grows in facing pain,
In standing firm through wind and rain.
So dare to turn, then truly see—
The strength in what we fear to be.

No more turning, no more flight,
Embrace the dark to find the light.
For only when we choose to stay,
Can hope arise and fears allay.

Thank-you for reading.

Remember there are many paths back to God.

Follow your own path,
